This was my first East Coast Summer After Moving

Note that current surf friends Butch Dye and Ed Decourse are in the picture with me.
Also, this was the winter when I broke my leg and crushed my ankle.
I was in bed for a month, put on 30 lbs and after 2 operations recovered for the next 3 months.
I almost quit surfing after that ordeal.
